Google will select a small collection of communities to provide new networking infrastructure. This new network would deliver Internet service at one gigabit per second, approximately 100 times the current fastest rate in Columbus, directly to homes in our community.
The City of Columbus is preparing a proposal to convince Google to select our city for this exciting new experiment. The areas proposed will stretch from German Village, through downtown, the Arena District, Short North, OSU Campus, and north of Clintonville.
We need your help to convince Google to choose Columbus as one of the communities to receive this exciting new technology.
Please nominate Columbus today! Hurry, the deadline is this Friday, March 26th!
